I am the mother of a 1990 Skyline GTR owner and I joined this site because I am hoping to find out information from other skyline owners that will help me help my son with his car..... (i help him support it......lol). We live in BC Canada - up in the Okanagan.

Right now, we are having a radiator issue. The plastic rad is leaking and when I checked with a partsman in Vancouver, he told me that Part #214004U01 (stock radiator) is out of production! So can anyone help me? Is there an aftermarket rad that fits? maybe aluminum? is there a source for gently used parts?

Sure hope for some answers - - he truly loves this car.

Welcome Jayne! You can take what TMS gives you as gospel when it comes to Skylines. I hope you get your problem worked out.

Thanks to the information, I have already located a shop that is willing to order the rad recommended by TMS. I am so very glad I found this site - I am sure it will prove to be a valuable resource in my continued support of my son's skyline.....lol.

This site will be the last place you will ever need to go for the CORRECT information on Nissan Skylines.

Gee, a 1990 R32 with a cracked, leaking top cap......if I lived in Canada, I'd swear you were MY mom and just running a year late.

I solved the identical problem with a Koyorad (Koyo) radiator....best quality for the money, I found. (I paid $485, including shipping...just gotta shop around for the best price)

That No Limit link above does seem like a good price, though....can't deny it.
