Im not so new to nico but just havent had time to introduce myself and my car.Myself im Mark, im a Refrigeration A/C Technician and i like nico because i find answers for everything that i need to do for my car here, its great

My car:93' 240sx Champaign/Gold LE all the bells and whistles, power everything, leather, HUD...Just in to the paint booth, coming out brand spankin new next week.Plans are :New wheels - 02-03' Spec-V wheels 17" with 25mm hub centric spacers all round.DCC swap, all parts picked up and most sensors from kevin

nice coupe, how may miles does it have? due you have any future swaps for it or are you gonna stick with the KA?

nah no future swaps in mind, its got almost 225,000miles but still running great, it was babied its whole life, an old woman drove it for most of its life. regular oil changes etc. but i plan on doing a rebuild in the near future.

anyone ever come across this? Im looking for this, i beleive you can get it from a 94 maxima?

Hey, very clean 240 you got there! i was wondering if the valve cover was ever painted. Or if not that, how did u keep it in the good condition that it is? (what degreaser)

Yes i painted it recently, theres a coating of something on the top of it, and i scrubed at it with degreaser but its almost like the degreaser took off the top layer and it looked terrible. so when i cleaned up my calipers the other day i used some brake cleaner to get rid of any grease and a grinder (on the caliper) with a rigidmetal buff wheel and painted them with high temp paint, baked it on with a few big heavy duty lights and with the left over paint i sanded down the valve cover and gave it a nice spray. worked out quite well for around $15

Yes i found where to get one, nissan part number is 68475-96E01but they want $60, Its from a 93-94 Maxima SE and it fits great in our 240s with out getting in the way of shifting!!!I will be hunting the junk yards this week.

should be putting the wheels and spacers on this week, then the DCC swap this weekend. should be interesting.
