Welcome to NICO!
Thanks for the pictures. I think you are the first (or certainly among the first) to get the M35x ... driving experiences and impressions would be good. Did you do a comparison (driving) of the 2 and 4 wheel drive models and can you comment on the differences?

You know, 2 comments... I knew basically exactly what I wanted; My previous car was an 2000 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi, And I loved that car--But it didn't love me. The latest episode was putting 4000.00 into fixing the car and then getting in a wreck that totaled it. And the wonderful insurance company would not give me a dime in credit (Brand new tires, Overhauled Trans, new breaks all the way around.........)
Short story long, I researched the M35/45 and figured that with living in the snow belt and having family that I visit IN the winter (during Christmas, et al) that 2 wheel rear wheel drive was not in my best interest. I could also just SEE my insurance company LOVING me for getting a 340 hp M45. (not to mention I have a hard enough time staying off the throttle on the M35
The M35x was really the only car I test drove of the Infiniti line; Maybe that makes me a little naive, but I had also tried the Acura TL about an hour before; thinking it was my direct competitor to the 35. Turned out while the Acura is a fine car, it felt a little too light and 'sportscar-ish' for me. The seats were like racing car buckets.
But from the moment I saw in person the M35/45, I knew. When I got in it, I was overwhelmed. When I took it for a test drive, I was sold.
I know that doesn't directly answer your question, but let me finish with this comment: To the best of my knowledge, the M35x only adjusts to 4 wheel drive when in slippery conditions; which fortunately have not occurred here yet So I can say as a 2 wheel-rear wheel drive car, it is fantastic.
