Hello and welcome to the Versa/Tiida area of Nicoclub.com forums. If you are new to owning the Nissan Versa/Tiida please post a few things about yourself to include your name, home market(i.e. USA, UK, e.t.c.), trim level/model year of your Versa/Tiida, future mods and a few pictures or yourself and your ride if you'd like to.

We'd also like to encourage all members to use the search button before creating a new topic. Wether you're looking for the answer to a problem or trying to find out if your next modification will work, using the search button will cut down on forum clutter, help get an immediate answer to your problem and will prevent the senior members from telling you to "use the search button noob".

We'd also like to make it clear, this is a forum for all owners of the Versa. Wether you modify your car or enoy it in stock trim, you will not be descriminated against for taking either path. By no means will bashing a member or his car be tolerated. Opinions are to be respected but a flagrant attack on a member will not be tolerated.

Regardless, this a forum to interact with other members and share your love of the Nissan Versa/Tiida. Please keep these points in mind and enjoy your time on the forum.

Hey guys,

My name is Andrew. I'm 23 years old and am from the lovely city of Baltimore, MD. I am a medical student studying trauma surgery.

I drive a '08 Nissan Versa (brilliant silver) 1.8s. I don't have much work done to it as seen in my signature, but my next purchases will be the tanabe strut tower brace and a set of coilovers.

Oh and I also have a supra that needs a rear end!

Haha

Greeting all,I live in the Dallas Texas area and I just bought a new (2009) Versa hatch last weekend. Got the S model w/auto trans, black with really dark tinted windows from dealer. Not thinking of any mods right now except for some new wheels and maybe a nose cover. I'll try to get some pics up in the next couple of days.

Later.

Hey! I am new to this forum. I just got a 2009 Versa. I am located in Nor Cal. I love the car. The seats are so comfortable and I get really good gas mileage compared to my 1996 c280 that I previously had.

As for mods, I plan to put underglow on it (Lavender), Fire decals running down the body, some high profile spinners, and wing. I am also wondering how the car would look when lifted an inch of two. That is also a possibility.

My car is silver.

Hi everyone I'm a new Versa owner, I'm a 27 year old single mom from NJ, USA. two little girls so I figured I would go with the sedan, I have a 1.8s...I have to say, its really surprising me too! I've never owned a Nissan before, I've had mostly chevys and I was actually bent on getting another, until I test drove a few, and one that was in particularly horrible, falling apart and it was just a mess...so I swore off chevy all together and excluded them completely from my search, started looking into anything that was considered reliable, and here I am with a versa

Hello Everyone, My name is Andy, and we traded in our 05 Xterra that wasn`t being used to it`s potential on a more economic car. After watching a local advertisement on the TV, we made a call to the dealer and set up an appointment, low and behold we drove the little guy home same afternoon! We decided to stay with the Nissan group. The Xterra served us well, and the recalls and issues were handled very well with the X. So we could only hope that the new 09 Versa hatchback model S runs equally well and is with us for years to come... Andy...

Oh BTW, this is the misses car, but I like to drive it as well. it has the 4spd auto, where as I would have liked the 6 speed, but it`s pretty zippy just the way it is... later folks, good to meet ya and be here!

Hello everyone my name is Dustin and I am enlisted in the US Air Force as a Crew Chief on F-15C/D aircraft at Eglin AFB.

What I work on daily:

I am a long time Honda guy and have owned a 1999 Honda Civic HX a 1999 Accord EX-L V6 a 2002 Civic Si a 1989 Acura Legend L and Currently I own a 2005 Acura TSX. My other vehicle prior to the Versa was a 1995 GMC Sierra K1500 single cab short bed Z71 that had over 400k miles on it that was hardly running so I decided to use the cash for clunkers program to get me a new car. The toss up was between a Chevy Aveo LS no AC and a Versa 1.6 sedan with AC, both for about the same price so ofcourse being in Florida I chose the one with AC and that is how I got my Fresh Powder Versa 1.6 Sedan. So far the car has 370 miles on it and I am loving it. As I get to learn the car more I am hoping I can help with some toutorials on how to do some tasks as I have quite a bit of mechanical and electrical knowledge. I will try to do technical writeups with images on anything I do to the car if one is not written. If you want I could do one on GPS / Radar detector wiring if you like.

My Versa:

Garmin 260W GPS installed:

Plans for my Versa:eBay Center ConsoleTanabe Coilover kit16 inch rims with 205/45/r16 tiresCold Air Intake (need to check fitament of the 1.8 CAI)Complete chassis brace kit with rear anti-sway barmore ???

Hopefully I can start working on this sometime after christmas.

My name is Jen and I bought my 2008 Nissan Versa S hatchback on my birthday last year! Happy birthday to me indeed!!! I tinted the windows myself, added the wind and bug guards, and painted the front grille black (Those chrome accents drove me CRAZY!). I'm not sure what's next... It's definitely a work in progress!

My name is Dave and I just purchased a 2009 Versa Sedan 1.6 base model this past weekend. It is my daily commuter car. I orginatly was purchasing the car for the price and with the cash for clucker program. But after the purchase and driving it I very satisfied with the cars comfort and drivablity. I don't realy want to do anything to it except get the radio installed hopefully this weekend.

Still trying to get photo sizing correct. It's tough when you're an old guy trying to show off Moms new ride.Mikey, (aka Michelle) is just loving her new ride. It would appear that cash for clunkers lasted just long enough.Need to get the rear spoiler just to add to the visual, had the tint done second day out.

Hi! My name is Daniel and I'm a new Versa owner located in Gainesville, FL. It's a pre-owned Versa, but barely pre-owned, so I was lucky. I got a 2009 Nissan Versa S, 1.8L. From what I understand it's got a lot of optional stuff like Cruise Control, Power Windows and ABS that most stock Versas don't have.

I literally just got it so the only pic I have right now is this pic of it before I drove it off the lot.

I don't know that much about Versas so I don't have any elaborate plans for what I'm going to do with it, other than install a new head unit (JVC KD-R800)

Hello:I just bought a 2009 Nissa Versa S 1.8 Hatchback. I got it because I had a "Cash for Clunkers" 1991 Ford Explorer so got the $4500 + $1250 Nissan Rebate. This has more options than I was aiming for but we did this on the LAST day of the CFC rebate deal. The car came off the truck on Friday afternoon & we bought it Saturday morning which is about as fresh as you can get!

This has Auto, Air, Tilt, Cruise, ABS package, AM/FM CD stereo, Optional rear spoiler, 15" wheels. Cruise Control, Power package, Splash Guards, 5-piece floor/trunk mats. So far I like it & am glad that I got the 1.8 engine instead of the 1.6, the extra power is nice. P.S. - I like the color also!

Hi, name is Daniel, i live in Charlotte NC with my girlfriend who the versa actually belongs to. But as i'm the more forum savy one i end up doing this portion of it. So we've had the car for about 7-8 months now and all in all it's very fun and much nicer to go for even short trips in that either of my 240s. as of now the only mods are the 18" bsa red mesh wheels, wrapped in a mixed batch of tires all sized 225/40/18. Of course there's plenty planned for the car but just have to go one step at a time. Probobly intake and exhaust next, but i'm a firm believer in suspension so that wont be far behind. Ok i'll wrap this up and go to the pics.

Nice wheels! I'm not a fan of this particular color, but the match between the white coor of the car, and those red rims is somehow really good...

Oh, and welcome!
