Right.. we dont use Zemulator for constant application. Its just there to tune, once we feel happy with the maps, then we just burn it to a EPROM and button her up.
Bikirom is similar to the ZEM. it changes the program during the shadowcycles to its no big thing at all. just pop it in place of the Stock Prom, or if you have a 16 bit ecu, then ofcourse you gotta sneak in that daughterboard hotness
Romeditor, Maptrace, etc All those programs are good, but the Zem is cleaned up and combined. One stop shopping basically. Its a great tool, but not needed for our application. We just set it and forget it. The great part about the Nissan ECU, is that it does the calculating for you, no need to fine tune every individual point, just need to set the markers and scale the tables properly.. let the ecu handle the rest!
