Hi everyone,
new to the forum and new to Infiniti. Just picked up a '06 G35 sedan (A) for the Mrs. I will post photos soon, but in the mean time I just wanted to introduce myself to the forum.

I'm looking forward to learning a lot and hopefully contribute to the forum.
Take care, :)

During our search for a DD for her, we wanted something that was reliable and with good safety stats. We looked at an Accord, Maxima, Passat, Jetta Wagon, Lexus ES, and lastly the G35 (all in one day :yesnod ). We could not get used to the FWD layout and its characteristics. Don't get me wrong, all those cars were phenomenal and they would be a great DD. Their build quality was exceptional and you could tell if we bought one, we would have many miles of minimal maintenance/troubleshooting. However, I guess we were used to the RWD set up and decided to go with the G35.
We have no plans for mods, with the exception (if possible - will have to search) of doing the Nav/Bose retrofit. The current factory audio setup is....well, there....

you'll have to go aftermarket for audio and nav.

Thanks everyone :)

Well, so far my first "mod" was downloading the service manual
As for the audio, although not my preferred vendor, I checked Crutchfield for a new head unit. Seems like the faceplate on that area requires modification in order to fit a new HU. The search continues...
Thanks again. Great site! :bigthumb:
