so i am still gettin the last of things so that when i head to the mechanic, there wont be any reason for delay. so i researched the wastegate actuator and it seems that a MBC and a wastegate actuator go hand in hand. first off, i have an internally wastegated t3. so ive searched and i cant really get a clear answer as to whether to get another wastegate actuator (hks, etc.) or use an electronic boost controller or use an MBC. which one would you use and why? how much does it cost and where to locate it? i wouldnt be boosting more than 12 psi due to the sr injectors and stock internals (i play safe)

Here's a nice actuator from Forge Motorsport. They've got some nice stuff for really great prices.

Whoa, an actuator for $150?!? Cant you get an external Tial for about $200.But since you wanna use an internal WG, did your current actuator quit on you? $150 seems like a lot for an 'upgraded' actuator.

Personaly I would never trust a MBC on my car.

I like my Greddy E-01 very much... And the more I tinker with it the better my boost holds...

nothing is wrong with my actuator. just want to make sure that the boost holds. also as for the electronic boost controller, is it worth gettin even tho i will only be running at max 12 psi?

I ran a TurboXS Dual Stg boost controller on my car Skyline for 4 years, all the way to 28 psi and 498 whp. No problems to comment on. It worked great for me and was way cheaper then most Elec Type BC's, you can get a N2O kit for the money you save.

my brother runs MBC and his works fine.on cold days or hot days, atmospheric conditions change, whatever, boost fluctuates a psi or two but its nothing to **** bricks over.
