internal/external wastegate

im lookin at this turbo that has an internal wastegate. will i be able to block off that lil port on the turbo and run an external wastegate?

Yes, you can block it off and add your own external.John

Also in case you are wondering, the best way to block it off it to take it to a welder and have them put a bead around it to completely seal it.

welding takes practice, practice practice. Its easy to weld to pieces of metal together. It takes time to be able to weld those same two pieces with minimal slag and nice even beaded welds. It is eay to learn and can be a valuable skill to have in the automotive business with fabrication in mind.
