Internal Antenna

Does anyone know where I can get an internal antenna for my 240? I want to shave off the stock one but I heard there's a antenna kit that mounts on the inside of your window. Does anyone know where I can find it?

Is there already one mounted inside the window along with the motorized one outside?

I shaved my antenna and I still get crystal clear reception on most stations within a 50 mile radius.

yea, but if you want to shave the power antenna and still get good reception I don't know anything else to use except maybe rig something up with that indoor flat cable antenna they use for small home stereos(I think you can get it at radio shack but I have never seen it used for this sort of application).

i shaved my antennae and searched for those other kits and found they all cost more than i want to spend. basically all you need is a piece of wire and a way to both hook it to your radio (plug) and a way to attach it to either your window or somewhere else.

since you already removed the old electric ant., then pull the wiring for it and run it up your a-pillar and use your choice of adhesive to attach the wire to the top edge of the glass. at least this is my plan once its comfortable outside to do so.

The A-pillar is a good idea. You can also get a non-motorized antenna and put it up under your headliner.
