I just scheduled an appointment to bring in it next week but in the meantime i would love to hear any input from you guys. I have a 2011 M37X making a humming noise when driving its random. I thought it was the radio but it does it with the radio off.

Sounds like electrical hum (from speakers) or mechanical? *Might* be wheel bearing...how many miles on the car?

Also, can you please update your profile and list your general geographic location? Thanks!

Yeah, could be your bearings. Does it get louder when you turn the wheel left or right (do it in a parking lot with the window down).

Did you make sure it's not the bearing?

I did what you suggested and its not the bearing. Pretty much makes that hum at around 40mph. To me it sounds like a muffler noise.

Does it stop when you let off the throttle? If you put the car in neutral while rolling and rev the engine does it change?
