2003 Maxima, new to the this board, not to the forums as I have a longtime J30.

New GF has Maxima, which I just replaced alternator (big hero!) after her ex let it sit for almost six months.
Now I find her driver side low beam is intermittent. I haven't really dug into it yet, but when I look at the bulb connection and the light switch is turned on, there is a spark (not a good sign!).
Question: is there a relay I should be concerned about? bad ground? (where is it?) On the J30 there is a headlight relay under the driver cowl that goes bad and needs resoldering, is there anything like this on the Maxima?

Again, it is intermittent, goes off and on when the switch is turned on, which leads me to a bad ground...
Any thoughts???

Arcing is indicative of loose connections or failing bulb. From the attached link, go to page EL-38 for component location and description, then page EL-41 onwards for schematic and wiring diagrams.
