Intermittent engine knock

Car: 2014 miss an pathfinder

Hi, I have a 2014 pathfinder that has a intermittent knock.it sounds like something in the oil pan that is being slung around. It will make this noise for a couple seconds and then every 10 seconds of so. The engine runs smooth and no issues other than the noise. It's almost like the a/c compressor cyceling. Any thoughts?
