Apologies in advance if this is a re-post. I tried searching all recent and archived content for 'bose', 'display' and 'stereo'.

The display on my Bose HU only works intermittently. It sometimes flickers to life after the car has been running for at least an hour, but for the most part, it is dark. The stereo itself works beautifully, only problem is the display. I tried a couple different approaches to solve this problem: new circuit board, new display, all to no avail. After those didn't work, I gave up. However, I recently saw this thread on the Infiniti technical forum and thought it might be a potential solution.

Any thoughts?

P.S., If there are any other posts on this topic, please let me know. I couldn't find any.

Is this the one that combines the CD and tape player. If so, I had mine repaired by a company in NY. Let me know if you want a link to their website.

Agreed on replacing instead of repairing. I just get very frustrated when I run into something I can't fix, especially after I've put in a lot of effort and come so close to fixing it. I have a tough time cutting my losses / throwing in the towel / etc.
