The Blower motor works Intermittently on my Q45 this is after removing it per a article on http://Q45.org and after that it started to work only sometimes the fuses are good But I halfassed the reintalation because I didnt clean the connector but I have another blower motor from a 94 Q45 on hand this one has a rubber tube for the air rather that a plastic one.

Could it be a dirty connector despite me checking it and blowing if any crap out by blowing on it. or is there a really that went bad coincidentially

Take the motor apart and measure the commutator brushes. How many hours and minutes has it operated.............hint, how many hours has the vehicle operated..................do the math.

Usual life is around 10 years like everything else.

I would say the blower motor is just going bad.. You can have a worn spot on the commutator that will cause it to stop working but when it nudges away it will start working again.

However, in my experience when the blowers go bad they usually squeal.

Its more of a tiny whine not a squeal in this case.
