I have an 06 M45...A couple of times in the last month or so, I've lost my audio while listening to the radio or a CD. Is there a MUTE button I'm hitting or do I have a problem? Anyone delt with this? Thanks!

Well, with zero replies, I'll rule out the mute button option. Damn, must be a real issue.

Sounds like a trip to the dealer is needed ... hope your car is under warranty still.

When the audio goes out does it appear that the head unit is still functional and just no audio through the speakers? If yes try the following:

Find the amp in the trunk (Mounted to the rear deck, drivers side) and disconnect all connectors spray with electric contact cleaner and reconnect. If you live in a humid environment it's possible the connectors are a bit corroded.

Sounds like an amp problem. There is a tsb for this. Take it to the dealer and hope youre still in warranty.
