Intermittent Air conditioning

I've got a '97 QX4 thats giving me an Air Conditioning problem

every morning I have the same problem, I turn on the ac but there is no cold air. then I drive the car for few minutes or just turn the ac off and on several times, and then it starts blowing cold air and I've no problemes the rest of the day. some time takes up to 15 min to work.

first of all

- The compressor clutch engages and disengages fine, but the large and the return hose are warm
- the blower motor works fine
- I replace the expansion valve
- I did a vacuum and then refill it
- I clean up the condenser
- when I turn on the ac the clutch enganges but both hoses are warm

have you connected a set of AC gauges to check you pressure differential across the high and low side with it running? that would be a solid determination weather your compressor and expansion valve are operating properly .
