Hello all, I am new to Nico. I just bought a 03 Pathfinder Le. I had a 98 patchy SE and gave it to my father to keep it in the family. I did a ton of work to it and it's extremely clean. I love these trucks. My question is - I have a rear intermittant buzzing sound in the driver side rear trunk area. The 4wd indicator shows the right rear wheel light is out, I figure it could be a bad sother point, since they aren't bulbs like the older models. I basically serviced everything on the Truck. Do you guys think the rear buzzing could have something to do with the light being out, since there both on the same side. I appreciate any advice. Everyone seems really nice on these forums. I have been reading a lot of posts and have gotten great info on the truck. Thanks guys.

Welcome to NICO!

I don't think the dead LED segment is related to your buzzing. There are a few relays and the stock Bose rear audio amp in the rear cargo area on the driver's side - you may want to pull the trim and turn the ignition to "ON" and closely listen to find out what is buzzing.

Thanks Towncivilian. I didn't know the rear amp was located there. I will start removing pieces to get a better listen. I will keep everyone updated with a fix, so it could possibly help someone else if they have the same issue one day. Thanks for the advice.

Do you hear the sound after you shut off the car? If so, check this thread:

jPK - I don't recall hearing it once the car is turned off, but I will double check today. It's intermittent, sometimes it won't do it. I am going to take some paneling off this weekend and post what it was for anyboody who may come across this same problem one day. Have A Merry Christmas all. jPK - that link is good to know for the future. Much Appreciated on the help.
