Need some help with this, did a search but couldnt find anything specific. 2000 Q45 was towed from the front wheels in neutral. Now TPS/Slip light comes on when ever i get off the highway or after driving on city streets for awhile. Do i need to reset the sensor somehow or could it be damaged. any help would be appreciated. Thnx guys!

:welcome: to NICO!

Although towing the car with the rear wheels on the ground is a good way to toast the transmission, I would think a problem with it would show up in a more traditional transmission failure like symptom. Something like not shifting into D easily, or not backing up in reverse.

Unfortunately I don't have much more for you than that. It's worth looking through your factory service manual, available at www.nicoclub.com/FSM/ to see if there are any diagnostic codes to see.

What brought on the need for the tow truck in the first place?

The Trans is fine, nothing different there. still feels smooth and shifts great. Im guessing it has something to do with the speed sensors being out of sync or something along those lines. it only comes on once in a while.

30 miles or over 50 mph will toast the transmission.

Check you battery and alternator, and not superficially.
