intermitent headlight problem

i have a 1998 sentra, the headlights have recently began to go on and off while driving. Last night they went off came back on and now they will not turn off even after turning the igition switch off. Any ideas on how to trouble shoot or what the problem / fix might be. thanks

The switch must not be working. I'm not sure how you'd replace it. Check the link in my sig to get an FSM and see how you'd go about that.

Just remove the plastic housing around the steering wheel and there will be a couple bolts/screws holding the light switch stalk on.
