intermediate oil for switch between regular oil and synthetic?

Hi Guys, I'm going to switch from regular motor oil (10w30?) to Valvoline synthetic oil (5w40). I will be seafoaming my engine end of this week and do the oil change next week.

Should I put in an intermediate oil before pouring in the synthetic oil for one oil change?

I heard Mobil Devlac 1 was recommended but I cannot find that at any stores around here. Is it safe to just switch without an intermediate? Or does anyone know what I should be using?

I am changing to synthetic because I heard it is better for high mileage cars like mine.

intermediate is synthetic blend, dont worry about it though, just go full synthetic youll be fine
