Interlock Relay

Can some one tell me the purpose of the interlock relay? I have a problem with my 1993 240sx starting. The car does not start at all unless I jump start it.

I have changed the starter and the battery and the car still will not start. I noticed that afer I try to start my car there is a clicking noise and a large voltage drop at the battery.

Try the battery connecters thats probly it well I only say that cuz it happend to me

What did you do to solve the problem? I have tried to tighten my battery cables as tight as possible, but they are still a little loose on the terminals.
