Interlock Relay

So a mouse got under my hood and chewed up most of my wiring that involves starting up my car. The car can start up fine if I bypass the interlock relay so insted of completely rewiring I'm thinking of just solding the wires together and keeping bypassing. Befor I do though I have been looking online to find out what kind of problems I can expect from doing this, alas I have found no topics on any electrical damage this could cause. Can some one please up to date me on what I can expect to happen should I make the bypass my repair salution?

Where is the interlocking relay located?

Its located next to the battery mounted on the passenger side near the headlight.
