Interlock Device XM Radio issue

This past month I've had to disconnect the negative terminal on my battery to reset my interlock device (the thing you have to blow in to start your car if the state deems you a drunkard) several times. The negative terminal was loose on a long trip and came off while I was driving and my XM radio quit working. Since then no xm radio, I've had the battery terminal off for 12 hours at times and I still can't get my XM radio back. It has come back twice before I blow to start my car but once it starts its gone again, both times. I was hoping anyone had some ideas how to fix this so I don't have to take it to the dealer.
