interior weight reduction

hello!! i was wondering if anyone has a good understanding regarding the front seats and their components. i ask cuz its a bit intimidating as i dont want to take mine's apart and break it, but i was wondering if anyone knows how much the front seats weigh vs buckets and if there is a way to reduce the weight in the stock cloth seats for my s14. thanks!!

my s13 rear seats probably weigh around 30-35 lbs. I couldn't imagine the s14 seats weighing much more.

i'd say theyre 20 lbs at the most...i could pick up the seat portion of them with one hand and hold it straight out...

yea, you're probably right, i was almost exaggerating. they don't do much for weight reduction.

weld anythin u dont need shut and remove all the latches/hinges... and cut holes in un-necessary parts of the chassis....remove all the protective plastic parts underneath the car....this is if it's trailored to and from the track
