Can someone please direct me to the part number for the 2 interior trunk light assembly? These are compatible with the bottom driver and passenger side light assembly with the dark tint. I am planning to use the trunk assembly so that I get a nice illumination.

I have a 08 model.

Hi, zerg711. I wouldn't change out the assemblies; if I was you, I would just take off the 'dark tint', which is just a footwell light cover that can be taken off with a hard, soft tool like a spatula, and let the light shine through. If you want to replace your stock bulbs to LED's, you can purchase the 5K LED lights that I replaced my stock bulbs with.

Footwell lights: 194/921 size - http://www.vleds.com/5k-white-high-powe ... -pair.html - Good illumination with the dark covers off.

Trunk lights: 194/921 size - http://www.vleds.com/5k-white-4-led-2w- ... -pair.html - Very nice illumination and color.

I have leds. I just don't want to take the cover off. I would rather spend a little money and use the trunk assembly in place of the tinted ones.

Here are the links for the trunk light assembly. This has the exact same product number as the Infiniti and Nissan (trunk and door) lamp assembly.

2008 M35 Left Trunk lamp assembly - Infiniti factory part No. - 26420-4U000

2008 M35 Right Trunk lamp assembly - Infiniti factory part No. - 26420-4U000

The trunk assembly is not the same as the footwell assembly (26400-4P100), so you may want to find another footwell assembly that has the clear lens.

Here are the links to some footwell assemblies (find out if these can be sent with clear lens):

Thank you good sir. I don't recall a left and a right assembly when I had to replace the bulbs with LED. I remember one assembly at the bottom and one on top. I will email and check with them then order.

I'm 100% certain that the trunk light assembly fits on the footwell on my 08 since I tried it. Part number is different due to the difference in lens shade.

No worries. Happy to help. Since the only differences between the trunk and footwell assemblies are the lens shades, then yes, the trunk assembly will be fine to use. I thought that taking off the footwell lens covers would be weird to do, but after taking it off and having the LED lights show that much more, I never thought about it again - since I never see the lens covers being off unless I do work around the footwell area (i.e. installing the underbody side [puddle] courtesy lights).
