alright so I've been scrounging around for a while looking for interior parts and I'm still looking around but I got atleast 50% of my interior swap completed today after 8 hours of intense pushing and pulling (damn dash) not to mention I did this by myself. but pictures will be up later, on that note anyone need and brown interior parts? or know where I can find black s13 mats?
Eric
PS: I say atleast 50% because I haven't touched the rear passenger area yet nor the trunk space. but the dash, and carpeting seemed like the hardest parts to do so I did those today.

for the mats I'd prefer not to go through the dealer....expensive there and all, as for the speakers, I thought all 91+ had active speakers...maybe just the ones I looked at...I just need to get the rest of the pieces and the swap will be pretty much complete, not sure if I want to replace the seats though because I will be reupholstering them anyways, any thoughts?

Alright now that I've been driving around for a while with the half interior swap its time for the next step, I think I'm going to just keep the tweed in there for a while, but inorder to make the black/tweed match I need to change the door panel inserts, anyone know how to do this? thanks

The inserts are attached to the door panels via little metal pin-like things which are very short. If you pry gently around the edge, it should come off.. just be careful. May have to glue it to reattach. Mine was treated a little rough by the previous owner, and is falling off, so that's how I know. I'm planning on trying to glue it back on, as it doesn't seem to want to attach back on the pins.

The verts didn't come with a lot of things that SE's normally came with. We didn't get AC. We didn't get ABS (although we got the slightly larger ABS calipers). We didn't get active speakers, nor the factory amp. But we did get the beefed up sports package suspension. and for some reason the passenger door didn't get the Oh Sh1t handle next to the instrument bezel.

I know, but it would have saved me the trouble of trying to figure out how to "paint" or stain my brown handle to black so I could use it in my new black interior. plus, you just can't beat $26 for both door panels, even if they weren't vert panels

I have the active speaker system stock and all they do is get in the way of my sound system. I dont think they are that great. Just some kind of frelled crossover for the upper mids and high ranges.
