I have a black G35 coupe with tan interior and I HATE it (the color). So much that I have bought almost every single panel in black and upholstered the headliner, A, B, and C pillars in black alcantara leather and the seats are soon to come.

However, my question is what the hell do I do with the visors. As many of you already know, there's no g35 with a black headliner nor visors. And I'm really trying to steer clear from having to get them upholstered in alcantara.

I was wondering if there was a black infiniti or nissan visor in black that could replace it.

I'd have them upholstered. It would cover up or remove all the annoying warning labels....

When I was shopping around for a G, I found a used one that had lots of mods. The interior had black suede on the pillars and headliner. Well, it was coming undone at the seams from the heat of the sun inside the car, and only looked ok. Be careful on what you decide to do...

I can't figure out what contact cement to use. I started with DURO by Loctite and that was the easiest to work with because it stayed tacky for a good hour so it made messups easy to fix but as soon as I left the car out in the sun, it started to come undone.

Then I went out and got 3M super 77 and this thing sucks. It has no holding power.

After that I got a can of 3M Super 80 and Super 90.

Super 80 is meant for headliners and is medium holding power where as the super 90 is High strength but its more for like formica and household carpet and in my experience, it wasn't very good.

In conclusion Super 80 worked the best but it still comes undone.

I'm considering just letting an upholstry shop finish it up with the right materials.
