I have a little fade on the top of my black steering wheel. Car is a M45 2006.
Can anyone recommend a good brand and color to match?

Thanks

Have you thought about using a cover / wrap? My thinking is that if you spray it, it will eventually fade again due to the constant wear that you put on it? (maybe???)

You need to use a leather dye not spray paint.

Thanks fellas. Let me clarify, this is for the top cover, not the actual wheel. The Florida sun has done its damage. I used an interior spray years ago on the glove box of my other car, and it has held up just fine.

Guess I will just experiment with colors.

You mean the plastic cover from the steering wheel to the dash? Spray paint will work there, however stick with a Matt, low odor paint and sand the entire surface down with 160 grit then 250 grit for a smooth finish. I would also sand between paint coats with a 400 grit

Pmiro2 (mike) this is lee I almost bought your gs400 a few years ago.. I am about to purchase an 06 m45 sport and wanted to talk to you to see how this compares to the gs400/430, what the common issues/problems are and/or what I should look out for when buying this car. I just recently sold my 06 430 and want to "scratch my itch" of owning an m45. Please shoot me a pm on here mike... I could not message you. Thanks
