Interior questions

Hi, I wanted to change out the door panels with a all black door panel on my 1990 240sx hatch to get rid of those grey tweed ones. Did they have an all black door panel without a cloth added on in that year. Another question was if i wanted to swap out some seats with another nissan, would they fit or does only the s13, s14 seats fit in the 1990? IF other nissan seats fit can some one reccommend the most comfortablest.

S14 seats fit with the S14 rails i belive, and it is a very sweet upgrade (s14 seats are soooooo comfortable). As far as the door panels, I belive there are only 4 difforent interiors for the s13: Black with gray fabric, blue with blue? fabric, Brown with tan fabric, and black with leather and gray carpet/door fabric. Im not 100% sure about that....

You can peel the stupid grey fabric off the door. Underneath is the same as the rest of the door. I just did this the other day, because I have seen a few other people have done it and I really dislike the interior fabrics in my s13. I did discover a few minor holes underneath however that is a little bit of a bummer but no big deal. I was also wondering if there were any other seats that I could easily find for cheap as these seats suck. I am going to mess around with the springs tomorrow(check out 240sx.org's install page), and hopefully I'll be satisfied.

so if i peel the grey fabric off the door could i fill it with something sand it and paint it? Does anyone know where i can get s14 seats in black online?

hey leet haxor, if you peel off the fabric, underneath is nice shiny plastic just like the rest of the door, it looks nice once you armor all it and make it all purty...

lol, yes i demolished mine because the dumbass that had the car before me layered paint all over it...so had enough and just tore the suckers off...so now i have plastic/patchy foam and nothing else...

Just rip the fabric off the doors. I took the doors off and actually filled the holes with some DAP. Than sanded with some real fine grit sandpaper to make the rest all smooth. Then painted flat black. Painted the door handle and the area around the door handle a gloss black. I think it turned out real well. Ill post a pic when I figure out how to.

i think im gonna try to make some custom carbon fiber cover/inserts for where the carpet is on the doors

:'( help! what do i do about my doors! i ripped the vinyl off the ENTIRE thing! nwo i'm stuck...anyone know where i can buy some door panels? i might go to the dealership...brand new is brand new, price may be awful but it's still brand new...:'(
