Hello all, I'm new to the forum and had a few questions. I bought my '04 G35 coupe back in Nov. Since then Ive had different people telling me what I should do with my car. I figured I'd ask here as well and see what the consensus is. Should I do work under the hood first, then work my way to a kick a** set of rims or vice versa. And if you recommend I start under the hood then where? Ive been told force air induction.... Thank you for your help and again, Thanks for letting me be apart of the G community.

Its up to you. I just bought things as it went on sale but my list of mods were in this order: z-tube/Stillen intake, Gialla grill, plenum spacer, eyelids, and suspension. Its a work in progress... I'm kinda in the same boat right now cuz I can't decide.. either Nismo front and Impul sides, or rims, or double din conversion.

I would start off with a twin turbo rotary engine with a supercharger!!

Or maybe a z-tube and K&N Would work on getting your car ready for FI - intake/exhaust.

Also, need to determine if you are going for show or go.

Welcome to Nico!!!

Do you have the Cheese to go FI?

You have to answer that first... because if you do then all the answers will be different

Well I don't really 'have' any cheese at the moment but was looking for advice on what I'm saving for. Thanks

I'd say go for the looks first and then mod under the hood. Get Kuruma Z front, Impul sides, Chargespeed rear, and some baller set of rims

I say do things 1 for one....say like get a jwt pop and a ztube...then get a new front bumper cover...then a spacer...then maybe a brake upgrade....

Just pick something you really want, save for it..get it, then start over with your next peice of want.

im personally working on my engine before i do any major exterior upgrades... my G35x wont look fast until its IS fast... but i like the sleeper look... so i wont go past upgrading my rims to coupe 18 inch rims... performance is my priority

Recently I've had a few friends tell me to start with my exhaust and work my way up to headers ect. A friend of mine has a honda s2000 and his engine is tune real high out the factory to really spend the cash he was thinking about to make it faster. Will the g have the same problem or is there a lot of 'hidden' power?

i would say about 40hp can be found with intake, spacer, headers, testpipes, and custom exhaust!
