I just bought a used Versa and I'm really looking forward to enjoying the car.

I've been looking around the net for specs on interior measurements, but can't seem to find the exact info I'm looking for so I'm hoping someone on here will help me out.

I am curious about the length of the hatch/storage with the seats down - I can only find a capacity measurement in cubic feet which really doesn't help.

Thanks!

Without measuring, I'd guess about 6 feet. What are you planning to carry?

Hi - thanks for replying to my post!

My husband plays keyboards for a living and we know two of them will fit, but he also has an 88-key piano that measures about 55" so we were wondering if it would fit too or not. He rarely takes it out of the studio but was just curious. Sounds like it will just fit!

Cheers!

The interior is very versatile and can be configured to carry cargo in different ways.

If longer room is needed, you can pull the front passenger seat up, remove the headrest, and recline the seat all the way to match up flat with the botom of the rear seat. That gives you a 6 foot flat bed the width of the passenger seat down that side of the car.

Folding down the rear seat, you can lean the front passenger seat forward and use that side of the car all the way up. Depending on the size of the item carried I've been known to have a passenger sit in the rear seat behind the driver instead of the passenger seat so I can use that long side of the car for large cargo.

If you need the rear section to fold flat with the rear seats, there is a cargo organizer available through Nissan that is designed to do that.

Thanks for the response - it appears we will have no problem fitting the gear inthe car.

Thanks!
