Hey people

Ive got a 3rd gen, 92 maxima.

Does anyone know if you can get different coloured interior lights? I mean the ones in the doors. I assume they are stock red/orange but i want to get some blue ones to match my head units display colour. look cool.

Know if they exist? and where to get them? any info would be great!

to make it harder i live in Aus (hence the 'u' in colour) so here's one for someone looking for a challenge!

Thanks!

yeah i was thinking of changing the bulbs but its the plastic cover in the door that is red so im not sure if i need to change that or just stick a coloured bulb in.

does anyone know if you can get different coloured covers for the lights in the doors?

I don't believe you can. You MIGHT be able to find clear covers but I'm not 100% on that.

I would check around the aftermarket dealers. A Nissan dealer would only be able to get the OE ones.

You might check the other 92 Maximas? I have a 6th gebn and I have red lenses but the Altima and Armada ones are clear and the same.

Looks like for the doors (if you can get clear lenses) would be a 159 (which is the same as 194)Look here for what would work best:http://autolumination.com/194.htm

My 01 I30 has clear/opaque lenses in the doors, perhaps you could look to the same year Infiniti for your Max.

Depends where you get them from, there's some crappy wedge LED's out there.(I think that's what you were saying...)

i need clear lenses though i will get around to finding some eventually and when i do ill just go with a normal globe because i dont need them to be super bright or anything like that

in saying that though normal globe might not be bright enough so i wouldnt count them out.

do wedge leds disperse the light better or something?
