Interior lights (or the absence there of) on a vert.

I have never had a vert before... but I noticed that unless the door is open, there is no switch to turn on interior lights on my 240sx convertible. Have you guys done a mod for that?

Don't need it, we like to have the top down...

You could simply splice into one of the wires for the door open/close loop to a switch.

I have never had need for the interior light really - there's cell phone light... actually most of the time it's to look up something on the cell phone.

My interior lights annoy me, I'm actually considering removing them - useless!

Not all verts had the map light mirrors. So not all verts will have the wiring. It's a simple deal to add though. Just tap into the hot side of the existing dome light, and then ground out the other side.

Just checked, my vert doesn't have it it's my coupe that has map lights, haha.

The map lights are definitely nice to have. I've always felt the lightning in the vert was very adequate. Night driving with the top down used to be one of my favorite things to do.
