My dash lights are fine, everything else is working great. The only problem that is occuring is that the heat control lights don't seem to be coming on. I've read the articles about the TCM controller? But it seems like the problem that's involved in that one is with the entire dash not lighting up.

That's not my case, also the lights will occasionally, it's getting rarer everytime, they will come on, and shine bright. For that reason I don't think it's the light bulbs (if there are any behind there). But the TCM seems to affect alot more than just these, so does anyone have more advise? I didn't want to bring back those really old threads.

this came up not too long ago, if I remember correctly the solution was replacing the bulbs in the unit itself. If you do a quick search Im sure you can find the post.

From what I remember you remove the AC unit and pull out the bulbs and replace those. That should work.

I'll give it a shot, I'll also do the search and try and find what type of bulbs that was. Thanks mr lunchbox. Nico gives me another straight answer woot.

covered in many a thread, it shouldnt be to hard to find a few of the older threads.

The bulbs are only available from the dealer with the special socket atached. Some say if you take the socket in to radio shack they can get the bulb part only.

Hmm - I'm just curious to know if that's the fix, or do I need to replace this TCM module. I don't imagine light bulbs magically coming on and working again after a period of time.

yeah, that's pretty typical for bulbs. sometimes they burn out completely but since a bulb is an element between two wires, sometimes the element will break and will make momentary contact and work again if the bulb is tapped on.
