After reading through a lot of the threads I decided I'd like to change out my interior lights to LED's. Is v-leds.com the best website for lights? I would also like to change out my brake lights/Reverse lights to something brighter. What do I need for that?

What I'll need???
(2) 194's for the front maps
(2) 194's for the courtesey door lights
(2) 194's for the license plate
(1) 194 for the trunk
(1) 3022 for the center dome light

I found this in another post but it doesnt look like the same lights in map lightrs etc..? Anyone have a direct link to the 194's and brake/revers lights?

jake7, those are the same bulbs i have and they're great. they're $7.99 for a pair (i made the mistake of thinking they were $8 each and bought too many). they're good cause they have leds on all sides so they don't create hot spots in your dome lights.

i'm not sure about reverse and brake lights. from what i know, unless you get really expensive led's for those, the stock bulbs are brighter.

I bought 5 LED LIGHT BULBS from Hongkong and waited about 14 days. I paid $1 for 2 items, but now I cannot find it again.

But I found another seller here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/5-LED-Ca ... 2a08870363

Thanks for the help guys. The only reason I was looking for brighter lights fo the rear is because I'm going to be tinting them. I'm going to cut a circle out around the reverse light (i just like how it looks) but I didn't know if there were some bulbs to switch out for actual brake lights to make them brighter.

Check Ebay, most come with free shipping

I bought something similar super cheap and very dimmmmm... I would recommend staying in the $3-4 per light range.

Does anyone have a link to the EXACT lights the bought either from superbrightleds.com or v-leds.com? I noticed a few differnet "194's" and want to make sure I get the right ones. I just want to do the interior lights and license plate lights. Probably 5k white.

Thanks Dreed. Which white do most people go with? "Cool white"?
The "WLED-x5' will replace license plate light too correct? So i need 6 total? (not including vanity mirrors.

I just don't want to order the wrong items....hate sending things back.. :gapteeth:

IAUM- thanks for the pics and links. Any reason the license plate lights are different than the interior 194's?

Not really sure. I think they might be a little brighter. I should have checked for myself but I wasn't that curious. I just followed the "How to Install Interior LEDs" guide and saw that people suggested the ones I bought for license plates.

Iaum- On the interior 194's there's 2 in a package correct? The license plate lights look like they sure do produce a lot of light!! :gapteeth:

Is there another option for the License plate light? I thought I read somewhere that the interior 194's would fit??

Anything that is size 194 will fit. I would assume the only differences are the light strength.

Got all the interiors taken care of. I got 2 more of the same 194's bc I read that they wil fit License plate light. If so great if not I'll find something else. I liked the color (whiteness) of the ones you got ^^ the license just looked a little too bright for my liking.

Yeah man let me see your 194's in the license plates and see how much more dim they are compared to mine. I'm lazy to swap mine out with my front light maps. And make sure to take good pics so I def don't have to "try" for myself =p

Just a quick question, are there any other alternatives to the dome light and sun visor lights other than the suggested one in the write up? The links are either broken or the product has been sold out.
http://www.nicoclub.com/archives/diy-ge ... ement.html

I'm researching bulb replacements for the ones I currently have(OEM) and I want to make sure I get the right ones. If possible, please provide a link to the product. I'm looking for anything with 6K color temperature. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
