Do you mean the dome lights or the inside backlighting? The backlighting is all through the taillamp fuse and relay, it's a 10A in the IPDM (RH rear of the engine box). The dome lamps go through the BCM but are fused upstream from it, it's a 10A fuse in the interior fusebox at the left end of the dash.
Good advice. Most people don't realize that interior lamps aren't just switches and bulbs anymore, the fancy "fade out" after the doors close and handy Power Saver that prevents an open door from trashing your battery both mean one thing: The BCM has to be in charge and not a switch. The transistor drivers aren't weak, but like any semiconductor in a car, they can be easily "popped" by overvoltage from careless sparks. Better safe than sorry!pedsemdoc wrote: ↑Thu Mar 04, 2021 8:58 amWhen doing anything electrical on an Infiniti, especially something seemingly as innocuous as changing interior bulbs to LEDs - I would disconnect the negative terminal on the battery. I blew out a BCM changing some bulbs on my '13 M37 and I'm pretty sure another member on here did too - maybe Ilya??
I have had no interior lights for 2 years, when you open the door. They do work when you press the button manually. Can you post a pic of the fuse you replaced to make them work. I have gone through all the fuses in the driverside floorboard area and engine compartment with no luck. I did buy a VIN specific BCM but it did not work as I think the harness is fried too maybe. But if its a simple fuse, that will be amazing.
