I just took possession of a 3.5 premium edition w/out nav on Monday the 25th . It is in the dealers shop at the moment because none of the interior, overhead lights will, or have ever, worked. I also tried my iPod w/ the aux input and got horrible results. The sounds is high-pitched and it pops and whines a lot. If I jiggle the jack on the stereo it switches back to radio as if nothing was plugged in. Everything seems to be working right on the iPod and the cable is brand new. I was just wondering if anyone else has had these sorts of issues. I’m hoping they will be fixed when I pick it up after work today and hope they don’t have to replace the whole stereo for the aux input malfunction.

Other than that, I love the car. It is everything I have been anticipating about. I did not receive a DVD but did receive all of the books and service manual. I am in Lafayette, IN and the dealer said I was the first in town to buy a Coupe, gotta love it!!!

Saw your post in the other room too. I have had none of these problems and I am over 2K miles now. All my electronics work fine. I am running Sirius in my Aux plug and have had no problems. If you want the DVD I can give you mine, I don't want it anymore. It isn't really anything you can't get in the manual.

Thanks for the DVD offer. lol I think I'll survive without it. The service center just called and said they are ordering a new “controller”. Don’t remember the exact name of the controller they said but it should be here in a few days (hopefully). As for the aux input, I was talking with someone and they mentioned that it might need an unamplified signal, when I tried my iPod it was at full blast. So, I will try it again this afternoon with the volume much lower. I thought I remember hearing something about 3 months of free XM radio. Does the car have a XM receiver built in??? Keep in mind that I have the Premium package but not the Navigation system.

If you have the premium, you get 2 or 3 months of free XM. You hit the radio button three times I think and it will come up. I love Sirius and wouldn't give it up for the world. I wish they gave the choice for Sirius because I would much rather have that. Anyway, I have listened to it a couple times but it didn't wow me. I don't really use it too much. Although, it is nice having it in the radio rather than having all these wires all over my car.

I had a similar problem with the interior lights. However, my issue was with the rear driver side reading light. The switch didn't work. Light would go on but you couldn't turn it off. The Altima (07 , 3.5SE version) was in the shop for a day (painful fix apparently).

My Aux input is also broken but it was from my doing. It's still works but I think I bent the connector inside the stereo head by accident (I pushed down on the 3.5mm connector and thus must have broken something inside). The connector now doesn't snap in and is loose.

I might sneak it into the shop and play dumb that it never worked since day one
