All,

My one complaint so far with my new car is that the interior lighting is so dim/low that it drives me nuts. Am I overlooking an adjustment that I can do or do I need to upgrade the bulbs to LED's get a brighter interior at night.

Thanks
Andy

upgrade to LED's... it's a 10 minute procedure to do the whole interior!

Yup, original bulbs were lame. LEDs are much better & brighter. I replaced all my interior lights with these LEDs:

Passenger side dome: both (a) and (b) soldered together at once.
Driver side dome: Only (b).

Where:
(a) 900 lumens (BA9S) = https://www.amazon.com/LUYED-Bright-Int ... _263_img_2
(b) 600 lumens (BA9S) = https://www.amazon.com/LUYED-Bright-Int ... ef=sr_1_84

In the rear domes, I used this:
https://www.amazon.com/SYLVANIA-ZEVO-Wh ... _sim_263_3

In the trunk, I used a 15-LED panel (T10, of size 20 mm x 40 mm), which is really bright. Nice!
In puddle-doors, I used a 12-LED panel (T10, of size 17mmx48mm).

The ONLY place where the new LED was too bright was the vanity mirror (3-SMD 5050 type), which sweetie doesn't like:

I didn't even know there were lights by your legs. OMG Nissan, you guys can do better than that. I get the "mood lighting" but Jesus! I didn't even know most of these locations existed.

So with the arrays do you need two sided tape to secure them.

Thanks guys for the reply. I did find the page with the wire up.

There is a HowTo on replacing all of the bulbs with LEDs if you search for it.

When I got my car there were black light covers over the lights in the footwells of passenger and driver. I ordered the clear light covers and replaced bulbs with LED.

^^^or just remove the covers and leave them off once you replace the bulbs with LED (that's how I'm running mine)

My original Infiniti M56 footwell lamp lenses were blackened out, so I bought 2 of these replacement lenses (Nissan P/N 26421-4P000) that are CLEAR, not black. This clear lens also happens to exactly match the clear lens in my M56 trunk. It's also used in many older Infiniti models:

For reverse LED lamps, I bought these JDM Astar-px921 (800 lumens LED):
