Does anyone know of a direct led replacement for the dome/map lights they clearly aren't a 3175 bulb as most of you know....

I purchased some BA9S LED replacements for my car. They fit perfectly, but Infiniti wired the map lights switching the polarity. I went through two sets before discovering the polarity issue. I ended up purchasing a LED panel on ebay with an adapter i could switch the positive/negative wires.

These easily fit into the dome light compartment, I'm sure I could have purchased a slightly larger panel

Ok so order these then on the light panel itself swap the positive and negative around rather than matching them up.......is that exactly what you're saying? I'm assuming this would be the case with rear passenger lights as well....

I think this is the easiest way to do the front dome lights. Just swap the red to the black when you plug things in and test it out. If that doesn't work, plug red to red and black to black. Get a few small zip ties to secure the panel in place because there is no good spot for the adhesive backing to stay stuck to. I looped the zip tie around the lightbulb connector piece.

There's an old write-up that requires disassembling of an LED bulb: http://www.nicoclub.com/archives/dome-l ... 5-m56.html

Using a panel that allows you to swap the wires is definitely much easier.

For the rear passengers, I just purchased LED bulbs and put them in. They're a direct replacement, I'm pretty sure they re the 3175 bulbs. Again, if you install them and they don't turn on, flip the ends around and see if that works.

I swapped just about all of my interior lights to LEDs bought from ebay, even both vanity mirrors. The only ones I didn't bother with were: hardly noticeable light in driver's side foot well and glove box (if there is even one there).

I changed all of my interior lights to LED and purchased all of my bulbs from http://store.ijdmtoy.com/Infiniti-M35-M ... iti_09.htm . All bulbs were replaced one for one with no mods needed.

Good luck

In case anyone was interested, I found the replacement for the vanity mirror lights. They are a tight fit, you might have to bend the prongs a little.

I need to replace my glove box light and trunk light and would like to go LED (they are the only interior bulbs that aren't LED), can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks
