I have an 06 Infiniti M35, and recently after experiencing a hurricane the car has been having electrical issues. The car keeps blowing out the 10a "Room lamp" fuse, which controls the trip miles, seat controls, mirrors, and interior lighting. However, when a fuse doesn't blow out, the lights for some reason dim and brighten in a set interval. This occurs when the engine isn't running, so it's not an alternator issue. I know there is probably a short somewhere, but was wondering if there is a common location of electrical shortage that is known for these cars? Thanks!

Start by checking for water or corrosion in the roof connectors (underneath the left A-pillar trim) and the big SMJ (Super Multiple Junction) connectors behind and above the kick panels. The SMJ's in particular aren't sealed and don't take kindly to getting wet.
