I think the amber lighting in the dash would be tough to change!

But the lights in the door and the internal car lighting is certainly possible, I'd think. I am going to evaluate a bright-white LED-based car lighting product from one of our sponsors (I am horribly late with the install and eval and write-up) that might be interesting too. I'll post more info about this ... someday soon, I hope!

the gauge cluster seems it could easily be removed. you can change the lighting fairly easily, give you can take out the cluster with no problem.

there are some sites out there that will sell "instrument" LEDs and ebay will have them as well. i think they are 94 Bulbs or 74, forgot. on my current car, ive changed all the amber bulbs to blue (turn signals, mileage, gear...)

I did this to my 2006 M35X with white led lights and it looks great. They produce a brighter, whiter looking light. I changed the ones on the door interior, overhead lights and trunk lights. I still need to change the one in the glove box.

Do you have a source and more info on what you used? Pictures, etc., would be cool too.

I have an interior LED light system that I need to install, but have not done it yet because I want to do a thorough job of documenting the results (with pictures, also using a light-meter to measure pre- and post-install results, etc.), so it will take some time for me to get to it. Maybe in July, when my wife and son are away visiting grandparents for four weeks!

^this is a great idea, does it need a specific type of lightbulb? I find that the OEM trunk light is a little dim i would like some sort of "fluorescent" lightbulb that is brighter

I ordered them from http://www.superbrightleds.com

They directed me to this site to find my part numbers first-http://www.sylvania.com/Consum...uide/

im interested in doing this as well but the site is confusing.

I'm guessing we need a 158 bulb and a DE3175 bulb? Where do i find it on the site?
