OK the switch that the door presses against to turn off the interior lights is going bad in my coupe. sometimes the lights go off and sometimes they stay on, so i have to close my door over and over again to make sure the lights stay off. so how easy is it to replace the switch? other ideas i have to to just pull the bulbs that are under the dash so no lights or i can figure out which fuse they run off of and pull it and hope nothing else runs off the fuse. i always keep my dome light off so that wouldnt be an issue.

One screw is holing the switch, so it's 1 out of 10 job. Are you sure it's the switch? Does the striker bar has plastic insert there? vert has it and we have exact same problem if the insert goes bad.

head to pull a part and get the whole setup. Mine were not coming on unless I jiggled the wiring on the drivers side, replaced the harness and the other piece, good to go. very easy.

typically replacing things are very easy if you have the money.Switches and what not are easy too cause they have sub harnesses the hard part is rewiring stuff so it should all be plug n play unless your problem is bigger then what you think is it.

the switch is super easy to replace. takes the whole better part of like 5 minutes.

i broke one of mine when i first got my car so i said fk it and went to the dealer and just bought a new one. The little rubber boot on the old one was messed up any way.

alright i'll check it out tomorrow after work to see what is exactly wrong with it and plan a trip to the junk yard or to the dealer to fix it.
