Interior light fuse...

Well since i bought my car none of my interior lights work and neither does my gauge lights and when i put my interior light fuse in it just pops instantly which i know is a grounded wire somewhere. I just can't find where the ground is there a common spot were this happens. Im stumped

i bought my 1991 240sx and none of the interior lights work either. I just need to get a bulb for the dome light because there is 12v going to that when the doors are open. however, I checked all the fuses for interior lights, lighting, etc. i literally checked every fuse and not one of them was burned. I'm stumped. When i turn the headlights on, the dimmer switch to the left of the steering wheel has 12v to 4 different wires, but doesn't light up and wont turn on the interior lights. nothing comes on at night. driving at night sucks and is dangerous because i cant see anything. someone help!
