I suggest you get LEDs bulbs from superbrightleds.com or v-leds.com (I have a 10% discount code for them). I get my LEDs bulbs personally from a supplier in Hong Kong on ebay. Downside is that, shipping takes days but it is much cheaper.

I personally like white, yellow, or amber. Auto shops should have blue and red incandescent ones and maybe some amber ones. For bulb reference if you did not know yet:

Map lights: two 194 bulbsDome light: one festoon 3022 bulbDoor step light: two 194 bulbsLicense plate: two 194 bulbs

http://www.superbrightleds.com...xt=50 is the site for superbrightleds, not hard from there. I bought from there, you'll want more than 4x leds for the interior, i bought those and found they're not bright enough and have since ordered another set of the WLED-xHP6 Wedge Base Bulbs (blue). Also get more than single bulb for the license plate, 4x should be enough but that's up to you. Can't say how long they'll last though, i've only had em for about a month.

To change the license plate bulbs you gotta partially remove the trunk liner behind the license plate. Removing the rubber stoppers and fasteners are easy.

bluee, it was either that or red cuz blue is pretty common but red with silver is kinda weird imo. i could be wrong cuz i never actually saw it but eh blue with silver sounds better.

The back one has a different sort of plastic covering the bulb; it's completely clear.

The front two have a whitish tint, and are not as clear, so yes, they would look more dim than the back one.

I'm pretty sure the front map lights are white and his dome light is blue.

I got mine at superbrightleds.com

I had 4x leds in the maps and a 4x 3022 in the dome. I replaced them with 6 directional leds in the maps:(WLED-xHP6 Wedge Base Bulb Miniature Wedge Base Bulb (194/168 type)with 6 High Power LEDs12 Volt AC/DC, 360 Viewing AngleSelect LED Color)

and a 9x 3022 in the dome... after putting the new ones in.. zero difference in brightness. The only good thing is that now my front maps don't have this bright "spot" it's not an even blue color which is nice.

superbrightleds.com is a decent site, way cheaper than vled for some reason and i havnt had any problems. I have a bunch of spares now though since i made two orders. anyone interested in buying some blue 4x194 and 4x3022 leds

AFAIK no one's been able to find a perfect fit yet. A few people on here got some bulbs that were too long and "got them to work". I got some that were too wide and also "got them to work".
