So I have two blue led strips from oznium under my dash, with a switch by the trunk release waiting to be wired.

however I bought four led strips because I though I would put the other two like in the trunk or something, but thinking it over I am not sure I feel like wiring all the way to the trunk

any ideas on what to do with these two extra strips ???

Why not wire them to the Trunk light rather than from the dash. It should only turn on when the trunk is open right???

I also got 4 led strips.

originally i had 2 strips per side in the front, but they were too bright, so I put 2 in front and 2 in the rear. though mine is a sedan.

Ya it would seem like kind of a waste having the other two striips under my seats since they would hardly be visible. Plus my passengers would probably kick them off.

I just installed them fully the other day and realised that I lost a light, so I only have one extra. I just sandwiched it in between the seat and whatever the thing is called that holds the seat.

not sure how good it looks yet since the wire is like falling apart on my and its hard to connect but it should be good

Can u post a link to the exact strips u got? How did u wire and secured them?

I'm looking to do the same. Not sure how u wired them but my plan involes a switch i can use ANYTIME and lights have to light up everytime doors are open (controlled by the door)

This is what I gothttp://cgi.ebay.com/4pc-BLUE-L...l1262 I wired it to a switch and mounted close to trunk release switch. I used the 12Vdc for the sunroof (since mine car doesn't have a sunroof - it is located inside the front driver's pillar).

Where did u place the switch? Where exactly did u secure/install the lights?

Sorry for these "retarted" questions but i've seen enought cars with this setup and most have either way too bright leds, or have to re-glue and/or re-screw strips pretty often.

ok my front footwell lights are done, everything works great. I got some blue led switch from autozone and the 12" blue flexible led strips from oznium.com

my shotgun seaters keep kicking the lights though so I need to secure it better, right now its just the 3M double sided tape and electrical tape on the sides.

I was thinking of doing just this with the led's. Where did you atually put the LED's and where did you wire them to.

Welcome to Nico!

I used a 12vdc power for the sunroof (the plug is located inside the driver's front pillar and wired it to a switch. The switch is mounted closed to the trunk switch (above the fuse box under your steering wheel).

I mounted the led strips onto the plastic parts above the pedals.

Theres also a flat part of plastic on the passenger side as well.

I wired mine to the cig lighter fuse, that way I have the ability to turn the lights on with the car on ACC if I want :D

My switch is mounted by the trunk release in one of those little blank spots
