I have the rest of my interior bulbs switched out, but these 2 have been giving me problems. This is for an 03 QX4 with auto climate control.

The 4WD switch I can't find bulbs that will fit, a T3 is slightly too big, and I'm not too comfortable with drilling into the switch. It also seems like there's 2 different bulb sizes for the bulbs in there.

The A/C, the bulbs don't seem to stick in place, after awhile of driving, hitting some bumps etc. the bulbs will move out of place and stop working. This is using T4s. ALSO, it seems like only some of the bulbs I put in work and I have to try each one to see which ones work. I've probably gone through 25 bulbs here.

This is with bulbs from VLEDs, and I tried a couple from superbrightleds as well. Any advice?

I couldn't find bulbs that would fit the 4WD switch either, so I ended up drilling. It's not too big of a deal to do, just take it bit by bit and only do what's needed. There's only a thick chunk of clear plastic behind the board the lights plug into. If you're really nervous about it, you can pick up a used switch on ebay to test on or use as a spare. I'm fairly certain all three were the same size, but I can't recall now...

I didn't have any problems with the bulbs coming loose on mine, but my wife's car did. Try prying the contacts out a bit from the bulb or maybe hot glue them in place.

As far as other bulbs simply not working, maybe try flipping them. Sometimes the lights are polarized and will only work one way. If they don't work at all, return them  Beyond that, following the size recommendations in the LED conversion thread should get you exactly what you need
