What's the consensus on the best/better products to use on the 4th gen Altima? I've found in the past that Infinit/Nissan interiors don't always work well with every type of interior/leather care products. It also seems as though the Altima's leather has some sort of vinyl coating on them as well.

I recently purchased Mother's VLR and Blue Magic's Leather Conditioner. Does anyone have any experience with these products on their 4th gen Altima?

I haven't used those particular products. I used Meguiar's Gold Class leather wipes for the last several years and have been doing just fine with those.

I'm going to see how well the Blue Magic works on Nissan's leather. In the past I've found that some products simply don't work well and actually seems to dry out the leather and causes the leather to have white/dry spots. e.g. Zaino, Zymol. :tisk:

I tested both Meguiars Natural Shine and Mothers VLR on my Altima. Both products worked okay and leave a nice clean fragrance. However, the Mother's VLR is such a low shine product, that it's difficult to even tell that a protectant/dressing was even applied. The results were very similar using Meguiars as well. As much as I dislike a shiny dash/interior both products were so low shine that I'm going to look into trying other products that produce a low sheen.

I think a lot of the results has to do with the material of the Altima's dash/doors. If you use an interior dressing/protectant that advertises is low-no shine/matte finish, the car's interior almost ends up appearing as though it's "dry". You will very likely achieve the same results if you use the popular 303 protectant as well. :tisk:

An interesting experience is the Meguiars Natural Shine worked perfectly on a '12 Toyota and a '12 Chrysler, but I think a lot has to do with the type of material the dash/doors these particular vehicles are made of.
