Hi all I am new at this but I have just purchased a 2005 qx56 I love the car it looks and sounds great. The interior has surface scratches on it. If you own one of these suv's you know what I am taking about. Is there anything I can do to make them look batter?

Thanks.

Sean

I know what you are talking about, I had an '04 QX56 up until about a month and half ago, I did accumulate a lot of scratches in the time that I owned it. That is one of the issues with the earlier models, cheaper interiors that didn't hold up as well. For the most part I lived with them, I was in fear of making them look worse by messing with them. I just tried to clean them as much as possible, it helps a little. Quite honestly it was the worst on the passenger side interior door panel thanks to my wife's heels. Fortunately I found that the Mr. Clean Magic Erasers work wonders for removing her stubborn heel marks. Other than that I used leather wipes to clean up the interior.

I've put about 2K miles on mine so far 15K total, but I haven't run into the interior scratch issue. It's my wife's (and kids') daily driver so what should I look for/avoid?

BTW I'm over in B.R.

How bout dem Tigers! For some reason the interior like the glover box get scratched easy along with the trim in the rear cargo space. Just give your wife and kids a heads up.
