I just bought a 1994 Q45, and the interior fan stays on. I have tryed the Auto, Econ, Off, Temp and the Fan control. But it still stays on, all the time you can hear it and feel it . The two round air outlets by the driver and passenger door are their locations. I dont know if its an electrical problem, or if the air can be turned off. Unfortunatly it did not come with an owners manuel.

If you can help it would be greatley apreciated.

Well ... first, I'd suggest you read the link Wes provided. Unfortunately, yeah, kinda spendy.

I clicked on the link that you provided, but did not find information that related to the transistor. I really appriciate all the help and information that you've provided. Do you have a part number available. Thanks

Not as spendy as I thought I recalled - thought it was in the hundreds.

The darlington resistor is a component of the fan control amplifier. For the cost I think it is easier to replace the amplifier rather than troubleshoot and replace the resistor. Easy job that takes about 30-45 minutes. Once you get the glovebox out you're there. The link supplied by Wes tells all.
