I drove a z for the first time yesterday...ooohhhh!!! Great car, fast and fun, but I don't need the noise??? exhaust noise? engine noise? the grumbling sound is what I would change. Can I switch out the exhaust to get rid of the noise or is it coming from the engine? I know its a sports car and all that, and I love it all, but I have a loud job, I just want some quiet to and from work. Thanks for anyones help!!!

Welcome to Nico!is the car stock? or has it got aftermarket intake ansd exhaust on it? if it's modified first thing is get back to stock, if it is stock then you can add a resonator in the exhaust before the muffler to take the tone down a bit, I'm sure there are aftermarket mufflers designed to cancel more noise at the sacrafice of power, you don't see quiet race cars , you can also pull out the interior and add an extra layer of sound deadening, many tyopes available, dynamat, lizard skin etc. you can also add a layer of insulation to the underside of the hood, but all this will add weight, you are asking for the complete opposite of the market, would you be happier in a G35? I would assume they are built to be a bit more quiet
